Job Description

HCLTech is hiring Automotive V&V; Engineers with proven experience in automotive system validation, communication protocols, HIL testing, and test automation. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in CANoe, CAPL, Python scripting, UDS diagnostics, and validation of automotive ECUs and systems.

Key Responsibilities

- Analyze customer requirements using DOORS/Polarion and create requirement specifications.
- Develop test plans, test cases, and test procedures based on system requirements.
- Execute Verification & Validation (V&V;) activities for Automotive ECUs and systems.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using CAPL and Python.
- Perform Hardware-in-Loop (HIL) and Software-in-Loop (SIL) testing.
- Validate communication protocols including CAN, LIN, Ethernet, and TCP/IP.
- Conduct diagnostics testing using UDS services.
- Develop and execute tests using NI TestStand, LabVIEW, dSPACE, MotionDesk, and DET tools.
- Support integration, system,



and regression testing activities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze and resolve issues.

Mandatory Skills

- 4 years of Automotive Verification & Validation experience.
- Hands-on expertise in CAN and CANoe.
- Strong CAPL and Python scripting skills.
- Experience with communication protocols:
- CAN
- LIN
- Ethernet
- TCP/IP

- Hands-on experience in HIL/SIL Testing.
- Good understanding of UDS diagnostics and services.
- Experience in NI TestStand and/or LabVIEW.
- Experience with DOORS/Polarion requirement management tools.
- Robust test case development and execution experience.

Preferred Skills

- Experience in ADAS, IVI, or IVC system validation.
- Hands-on experience with dSPACE, MotionDesk, and DET.
- Experience developing automated test frameworks.
- Exposure to ECU Testing and AUTOSAR environments.

Education

- BE/B.Tech/ME/M.Tech in Electronics, Electrical, Instrumentation, Automotive Engineering, Computer Science, or related disciplines.
