Job Title: Senior Engineer - Protection, SAS, Power System, Protection & Metering

Location: Chennai
Industry: Power Transmission & Distribution / Substation EPC
Experience: 5-12 Years

We are looking for an experienced Senior Engineer - Protection, SAS & Metering to support Substation EPC Tendering and Engineering activities. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Protection, Control, SAS, Metering, and Communication Systems, along with exposure to SEC standards and substation tendering activities.

Key Responsibilities

- Review tender documents, drawings, specifications, and client requirements.
- Prepare technical proposals for HV/EHV Substation EPC tenders.
- Develop accurate BOQs for Protection, Control, SAS, Metering, and Communication Systems, including associated materials and accessories.
- Perform cost estimation, pricing, and bid evaluations.
- Prepare technical clarifications and RFIs to ensure complete understanding of project requirements.
- Design and review Protection Systems, Control Systems, SAS,



Metering Systems, Disturbance Recorder Systems, and Substation Communication Systems.
- Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and commercial teams during tendering activities.
- Identify technical risks, assumptions, exclusions, and value engineering opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with SEC standards, IEC standards, and project specifications.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Specialization in Power Systems, Protection, SAS, and Metering.
- Robust knowledge of Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) standards and specifications.
- Experience in HV/EHV Substation EPC projects.
- Hands-on experience in Protection, Control, SAS, Metering, and Communication Systems.
- Experience in BOQ preparation, technical proposal development, and tendering activities.
- Willingness to learn and support Substation Telecommunication Systems.
