Job Description SAP SAFe Agile Coach

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced SAP SAFe Agile Coach to drive Agile transformation across SAP implementation and support projects. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) and SAP project delivery, helping teams adopt Agile best practices and ensuring successful execution of Agile Release Trains (ARTs).

Key Responsibilities

- Coach SAP teams and business stakeholders on SAFe principles, Agile practices, and Agile ways of working.
- Support and facilitate Agile Release Trains (ARTs) and key SAFe ceremonies such as:
- PI Planning
- Scrum of Scrums
- ART Sync
- System Demos
- Inspect & Adapt Workshops

- Guide Scrum Masters, Product Owners, Release Train Engineers (RTEs), and SAP functional/technical teams.
- Support Agile delivery across SAP implementation phases including:

- Blueprinting / Explore
- Configuration
- Development
- Testing
- Deployment
- Hypercare

- Help with backlog management, capacity planning, prioritization, and writing user stories with clear acceptance criteria.
- Establish Agile governance, monitor Agile metrics (velocity,



predictability, PI performance), and drive continuous process improvement.
- Conduct Agile training sessions, workshops, and Agile maturity assessments.

Required Skills

- 5–12 years of experience in Agile delivery or Agile coaching.
- Strong knowledge of SAFe Framework (5.0/6.0).
- Experience with:
- PI Planning
- Agile Release Trains (ARTs)
- Lean-Agile practices
- Value Stream Mapping

- Hands-on experience with Agile tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Rally, or VersionOne.
- Experience working on SAP S/4HANA or SAP ECC implementation projects.
- Good understanding of SAP modules such as SD, MM, FICO, PP, QM, HCM, or similar.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.

Preferred Qualifications

- SAFe Program Consultant (SPC) certification (Highly Preferred)
- Secure Agilist (SA)
- SAFe Release Train Engineer (RTE)
- SAFe Scrum Master (SSM)
- Experience in large-scale global SAP implementation or transformation programs.
