Looking for an experienced BIW engineering leader to establish and lead the Body-in-White (BIW) Centre of Excellence.

The role will be responsible for BIW design and development, body structure engineering, lightweighting, manufacturability, cost optimization, and driving engineering excellence across new product development programs.

The incumbent will work closely with Product Development, Manufacturing, CAE, Quality, and Supplier teams to deliver robust and cutting-edge BIW solutions.

Must-Have Requirements

- 18+ years of experience in BIW (Body-in-White) Design & Development.




- Strong experience in complete vehicle/product development lifecycle.
- Expertise in sheet metal design, welded structures, BIW architecture, GD&T;, DFMEA, DFM/DFA, tolerance stack-up, and value engineering.
- Hands-on exposure to CATIA/NX and PLM tools.
- Proven experience leading large engineering teams or a Centre of Excellence (COE).
- Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional leadership skills.
