Key Responsibilities

Conduct trial mix for various grades of concrete at the in-house plant and 3rd party RMC plants

Test or check the concrete raw materials such as coarse aggregate, fine aggregate sieve analysis, bulking, and silt content test in fine aggregate.

Conduct slump cone or flow table test, casting and testing of concrete cubes.

Conduct regular inspections and tests on construction materials, methods, and finished works to ensure compliance with project specifications and IS codes.

Monitor on-site construction activities to verify conformance with approved quality plans, engineering drawings, and checklists.

Identify, report, and document non-conformities; assist in root cause analysis and implementation of corrective and preventive actions.

Maintain detailed quality records, including test results, inspection reports, daily QA logs, and NCRs.

Coordinate with site execution teams, subcontractors, and material suppliers to enforce quality requirements and resolve quality-related issues.

Assist in the preparation of periodic quality reports and updates for project management and client review.





Ensure implementation of Navin s quality standards, procedures, and safety practices throughout the construction cycle.

Qualifications Experience

Diploma or Bachelor s degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.

4 5 years of experience in QA/QC roles within residential construction projects.

Solid understanding of construction materials, quality testing methods, and Indian standards (e.g., IS, NBC).

Prior experience in mid-rise to high-rise building construction is preferred.

Detail-oriented with strong documentation and reporting skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with QA/QC tools and techniques.

Willingness to work on-site in Chennai as per project requirements.
