Job Title: MIS & FP&A; Specialist(Immediate joiners only)
Department: Finance
Location: Chennai( 4 to 7 years)
Reporting To: General Manager, Finance & Accounts

Role Overview

The MIS & FP&A; Specialist will be responsible for financial planning, budgeting, inventory reporting, cost analytics, revenue analytics, and business performance analysis. The role will work closely with cross-functional teams to provide data-driven insights, support strategic decision-making, and ensure financial discipline across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

1. Financial Planning & Budgeting

- Coordinate with department heads on a monthly basis to finalize budgets and cost plans.
- Lead the annual budgeting process in alignment with business objectives.
- Develop detailed financial models to support planning, forecasting, and projections.
- Track actual performance against budget on a monthly basis, analyze variances, and provide actionable insights.
- Partner with Procurement and Finance teams for inventory planning, budgeting, and forecasting support.

2. Inventory Management Dashboards

- Prepare and analyze inventory dashboards on a daily basis to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Ensure inventory management SOPs are followed and highlight variances related to inventory and stock returns.
- Support accurate accounting of inventory movements and stock returns.
- Perform reconciliations for accounts receivables and inventory to maintain data accuracy.

3. Business & Financial Analysis

- Conduct in-depth analysis of revenue, costs, and profitability.
- Monitor key financial and operational KPIs such as revenue growth, gross margins, contribution margins, CAC, and related metrics.
- Identify trends, risks,



and opportunities impacting business performance.
- Provide insights to support business decisions and performance improvement.

4. MIS & Reporting

- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and ad-hoc MIS reports covering financial data, inventory reports, cost trends, and revenue analytics for management review.
- Develop dashboards for real-time performance tracking.
- Ensure accuracy, consistency, and timely reporting of financial data.
- Monitor KPIs such as inventory turnover, aging stock, cost variances, revenue variances, and other business metrics.
- Create actionable dashboards and reports for management decision-making.

5. Cross-Functional Collaboration

- Partner with Sales, Marketing, Operations, Procurement, and Finance teams to provide financial insights.
- Support decision-making through scenario analysis and financial modeling.
- Drive cost optimization initiatives across functions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to improve financial visibility and reporting discipline.

Job Specifications

Educational Qualification

- CA Inter / CMA Inter / MBA Finance / B.Com / BBA with relevant experience.

Skills Required

- Strong financial modeling and analytical skills.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel is mandatory.
- Experience in MIS reporting and dashboard preparation.
- Good understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Strong business acumen and problem-solving ability.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
