Role Overview: As a Senior / Software Engineer specializing in Android Jetpack compose development, you will be part of a cross-functional team focused on transforming our digital capabilities. You will drive innovation, deliver products in increasingly shorter cycles, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our processes, tooling, and engineering practices.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the development of host apps on the Android platform, ensuring high performance and responsiveness.
- Collaborate with global stakeholders, including engineering, delivery teams, and QAs, to align on project goals and deliverables.
- Implement and maintain robust, scalable, and efficient code using Kotlin and Jetpack compose, with hands-on coding expertise.
- Apply design patterns to create clean, maintainable, and efficient code architecture.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, ensuring minimal disruption to services.
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to the growth of the teams technical expertise.




- Utilize critical thinking to analyze complex problems and develop innovative solutions.

• Participate in Agile and DevOps practices to enhance development efficiency and product quality

Desired Competencies : (Technical/Behavioural Competency)

Must Have-

1. Strong knowledge and hands-on development experience in Native Android Mobile app development using Kotlin (latest version) & Java is a must.
2. Experience working with latest version of Android Studio, Android SDK, Java & Android-related tools for flashing, debugging/troubleshooting.
3. Robust OOPS fundamentals & development experience in calling web services (RESTful / SOAP) & basic client-server architecture understanding.
4. Expert in any one of the modern MV-VM/MVC framework
5. Experience in automated unit testing frameworks e.g., Junit, Espresso etc.
6. Proven experience of working in fully Agile teams/environment
7. Knowledge of Continuous Integration and Delivery (CI/CD), BDD & other software engineering best practices
8. Hands-on Technical lead (Android) role experience
