Qualification: Preferring a Qualified CA or ICWA with proven experience (4-8 Years) as an Accounts Manager or similar role in the manufacturing industry, preferably in the manufacturing / Edible Oil Industry.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Financial Management:

- Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure effective and productive financial operations.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and budgets, providing insights to management.
- Monitor and manage cash flow, ensuring adequate funds are available for operational requirements.
- Conduct periodic financial reviews, identifying areas of improvement and cost-saving opportunities.
- Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory authorities during audits and compliance reviews.

General Accounting:

- Oversee day-to-day accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll.
- Ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions in accordance with accounting principles and company policies.
- Review and reconcile accounts, resolving any discrepancies or issues.
- Maintain an updated and organized filing system for financial records and documentation.




- Prepare and submit tax returns, ensuring compliance with tax regulations and timely payment of taxes.

Budgeting and Forecasting:

- Collaborate with department heads to develop annual budgets and financial forecasts.
- Monitor actual financial performance against budgeted targets, investigating and explaining variances.
- Provide financial analysis and recommendations for cost control and revenue enhancement initiatives.

Compliance and Reporting:

- Stay updated with applicable accounting standards, tax laws, and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare and submit financial reports, statements, and disclosures as per legal and regulatory obligations.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports for management, board meetings, and stakeholders.
- Ensure adherence to internal policies and procedures, as well as external compliance requirements.
