Actively mentor and teach junior engineers and deeply engage with each one and set them up for success

Technical process skills

Must have

Strong handson experience in developing enterprisegrade applications using JavaJ2EE Spring and Spring Boot

Excellent understanding of ObjectOriented Programming OOP concepts SOLID DRY modular design principles and commonly used design patterns

Proven experience in designing and implementing microservicesbased architectures including service communication fault tolerance and scalability

Strong understanding of multithreading and concurrency concepts and their practical application in Java





Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs including API security versioning and performance considerations

Solid understanding of web application fundamentals HTTP lifecycle authenticationauthorization caching security best practices

Working experience with relational databases PostgreSQL Oracle MySQL and NoSQL databases MongoDB DynamoDB

Strong handson experience with AWS cloud services such as

EC2 ECS EKS

S3 RDS DynamoDB

IAM CloudWatch Parameter Store Secrets Manager

Experience implementing logging monitoring and observability using SLF4J Log4j2 Logback and AWSnative tools

Positive knowledge of unit testing and TDD using JUnit TestNG and mocking frameworks such as Mockito PowerMockito

Proficient with Git and version control best practices including branching strategies tagging release management and hotfix handling

Experience with build and dependency management tools such as Maven and Gradle

Handson experience with containerization using Docker and working knowledge of Kubernetes Amazon EKS

Good to have

Working knowledge of frontend frameworks such as Angular React or Vue to support endtoend solution discussions

Experience with eventdriven and messaging systems like Kafka RabbitMQ or ActiveMQ

Good understanding of setting up CICD pipeline and related systems using Jenkins

Experience with artifacts repositories like jFrog artifactory Sonatype nexus Apache Archiva etc

Practical experience using AIassisted development tools such as

GitHub Copilot or similar tools for faster development and code reviews

AIassisted unit test generation refactoring suggestions and documentation
