- Administer and maintain the Power BI Service environment.
- Manage Power BI workspaces, datasets, reports, dashboards, and apps.
- Configure and maintain On-Premises Data Gateways.
- Administer Power BI Premium/Fabric capacities and monitor performance.
- Implement and manage security, including Row-Level Security (RLS) and user access controls.
- Manage tenant settings, governance policies, and compliance requirements.
- Monitor system health, usage metrics, audit logs, and refresh failures.
- Troubleshoot Power BI service, gateway, refresh, and performance issues.
- Collaborate with business users, report developers, and data engineers.
- Automate administrative tasks using PowerShell and REST APIs.
- Ensure adherence to best practices for governance, security, and capacity utilization.
- Support migration, deployment,



and lifecycle management of Power BI assets.
- Maintain documentation for administration processes and standards.

Required Skills

- Strong experience with Power BI Service Administration.
- Experience with Power BI Gateway Management.
- Knowledge of Power BI Premium Capacity and Microsoft Fabric.
- Understanding of Azure AD / Microsoft Entra ID.
- Expertise in workspace administration and tenant settings.
- Experience with security models, RLS, and data governance.
- Knowledge of PowerShell scripting and Power BI REST APIs.
- Familiarity with SQL Server and data warehousing concepts.
- Robust troubleshooting and performance tuning skills.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with Microsoft Fabric Administration.
- Knowledge of Azure services.
- Understanding of CI/CD and Power BI deployment pipelines.
- Microsoft Power BI/Fabric certifications.
