Responsibilities

Direct Responsibilities

- Proactively communicate and collaborate with external and internal third-parties to analyze testing requirements and deliver the following artifacts as needed: Test Strategy, Test Plan, Test Cases, Test Completion Report and sign-off, exception reporting and follow-up.
- Excellent knowledge and relevant experience in testing techniques, both for data entry and for comparison of test results (e.g. on screen, in reports, in database, performance and scalability tests)
- Experience in managing and maintaining test data, which allows reproducible results and comparison between successive test runs
- Strong analytical and quick learning skills required, to handle test cases in a rich and complex architecture with many interconnected applications

Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, managers, subject matter experts and technical teams.

Contributing Responsibilities

- Create BRD, functional specifications, flow charts, Root cause analysis and other diagnostic documentations.
- Have a good understanding of the data flows and understand its lifecycle of source to destination.
- Identify risk in process and propose / implement controls

Technical & Behavioral Competencies

- Strong proficiency with Testing tools and software quality tools:
- Functional tests, Non-Functional Requirements, Security, Performance, Robustness, Middleware testing (Batch processing, REST APIs)
- Expert in various testing techniques, and achieving maximum automation for non-regression tests
- Knowledge in PostMan.
- ALM, JIRA, Service Now

Mandatory (Testing Skills):





- 5-8 years of relevant experience in software testing with experience in Wealth Management banking domain.
- Proficient in test life cycle.
- Functional testing with various techniques
- Integration testing with other systems
- System Integration testing
- End to End testing
- Hands-on experience in writing test cases for complex projects, test data preparation and test execution.
- Hands-on experience in writing test cases using technical specification documents.
- Hands-On experience in database testing.
- Test cases optimization to achieve coverage and quality.
- Experience in ETL testing.
- Proficient in using Quality Center/ HP- ALM and JIRA
- Coordination with various teams on testing activities (understanding application/domain/requirements, test cases writing, execution and defects).
- Communication skills:
- Good oral & written skills.
- Report promptly (oral and written).
- Reporting to test manager on the test activities progress and data gathering to generate metrics.
- A valuable team player with problem-solving attitude.
- Analytical and precise: Capacity to challenge the team and convince based on facts.

Mandatory (Functional Skills):

- Knowledge on Financial Instruments:
- Different types of products(i.e. loans/deposits/fx/securities/etc)
- Referential data
- Prices, Ratings, Exchange rates, Money Market rates
- Underlying assets, Indices and revenues.

Mandatory (Technical Skills):

- Hands on experience on writing SQL queries.
- Experience on using Unix/Linux and Windows basic commands.

Specific Qualifications:

- Knowledge on Wealth Management Products (i.e. loans/deposits/fx/securities/etc).
- Experience in writing SQL queries
- Knowledge of Financial Instruments.
- Experience in ETL testing with 3 years.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in software testing in Banking domain.
