Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Microsoft Power BI Developer to design, develop, and maintain business intelligence solutions that turn data into knowledge. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements, build dashboards and reports, and support data-driven decision-making across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop, publish, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications and BI solutions
- Design and implement data models and datasets optimized for reporting
- Design and implement dataflows using Power Query and Power BI dataflows
- Develop and maintain Power Platform dataflows and data marts that integrate with other
- Microsoft applications such as Dynamics 365 and SharePoint
- Create and maintain automated workflows and business processes using Power Automate
- Develop and maintain custom connectors and APIs using Power Platform and Azure
- Perform data analysis and create reports and dashboards using Power BI

Required Skills and Experience:

- Hands-on experience with DAX, Power Query (M), and Power BI Desktop
- Strong experience with SQL Server, T-SQL, and stored procedures
- Experience in data modeling, star/snowflake schema, and relational databases
- Familiarity with data warehousing and ETL processes




- Experience working with large datasets and performance optimization techniques
- Experience in integrating Power BI with Microsoft technologies like Azure Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, or Excel
- Experience in version control and deployment tools (e.g., Git, DevOps pipelines) is a plus
- strong knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform, including Power BI, Power Query, Power Apps, and Power Automate
- Experience with SQL Server, Azure SQL Database, and other Microsoft data technologies
- Familiarity with Azure Data Factory, Azure Logic Apps, and other Azure data integration and
orchestration services
- Experience with SharePoint integration with Power Platform
- Solid knowledge of data modeling and ETL processes using Power Query and Power BI
dataflows
- Proficiency in DAX, M, and other data analysis and transformation languages
- Familiarity with Microsoft Azure cloud services and security best practices.

Technical Skills:

- Microsoft SQL Server R2 / 2012 or above

- Microsoft SSIS , SSAS, SSRS

Nice to have:

- Microsoft certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Developer Associate or

- Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate are a plus.

- Any functional certifications like BFSI / Insurance are added advantage

- Any onsite experience is added advantage but not mandatory
