- Experience in costing, estimation, production engineering, or quotation preparation in a sheet metal, fabrication, or general manufacturing setting.
- Strong ability to read PDF drawings, fabrication drawings, and customer specifications.
- Good knowledge of BOM preparation, manufacturing processes, nesting concepts, raw material utilization, and scrap calculation.
- Working knowledge of fabrication processes such as laser cutting, bending, welding, grinding, coating, and packing.
- Strong commercial awareness with the ability to prepare competitive and technically correct quotations.
- Proficiency in Excel and costing formats; familiarity with ERP systems and CAD/DXF workflow is preferred.
- Good coordination and communication skills to work with procurement, design, production, and sales teams.
