Role & responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

- Develop new unit test cases using the Ceedling framework for embedded C software modules.
- Enhance and maintain existing test suites to improve overall code coverage.
- Analyze source code and identify uncovered execution paths.
- Achieve and maintain 90% line coverage for assigned modules.
- Generate and validate code coverage reports.
- Review test cases and coverage results with software feature experts.
- Debug and resolve test execution issues, stubs, mocks, and setting-related problems.
- Ensure test artifacts comply with customer-required formats and repository structures.
- Support integration of unit testing into CI/CD pipelines where applicable.
- Maintain traceability between software requirements, source code, and test cases.

Required Technical Skills

Mandatory

- Strong Embedded C programming experience.




- Hands-on experience with Ceedling Unit Testing Framework.
- Good understanding of:
- Unit Testing
- White-box Testing
- Code Coverage Analysis
- Static and Dynamic Testing

- Experience generating and analyzing:

- Line Coverage
- Function Coverage
- Branch Coverage

- Familiarity with embedded software architectures.
- Experience in Linux-based development environments.
- Proficiency with Git/ClearCase or equivalent version control systems.
- Strong debugging skills.

Automotive Domain Knowledge

- Automotive Embedded Software Development.
- Diagnostics software concepts.
- Transmission & Driveline Control Systems.
- Automotive software quality processes.
