Roles & Responsibilities

- Operate CNC VTL, VMC, CNC Lathe, and Milling machines independently.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, process sheets, and work instructions.
- Set up jobs by loading tools, fixtures, and workpieces as per production requirements.
- Perform machine offset adjustments and tool wear compensation during machining.
- Inspect finished components using measuring instruments such as Vernier calipers, Micrometers, Bore Gauges, Height Gauges, and Dial Indicators.
- Ensure components meet dimensional accuracy and quality specifications.
- Monitor machine performance and identify any abnormalities during operation.
- Change cutting tools and inserts whenever required.
- Perform routine machine cleaning and preventive maintenance.
- Maintain production records, inspection reports, and machine logbooks.
- Follow production schedules to achieve daily output targets.
- Minimize material wastage and improve machine utilization.
- Adhere to 5S, Kaizen, TPM, and company safety standards.
- Coordinate with Production, Quality, and Maintenance teams to resolve machining issues.
- Report machine breakdowns, tool failures, or quality concerns to supervisors immediately.
