Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Multilingual Localization Executive with 13 years of experience in localization, translation, and desktop publishing (DTP). The ideal candidate should have experience managing multilingual content, coordinating localization projects, and working with Adobe InDesign to prepare publication-ready files while maintaining linguistic accuracy and design consistency.

- Coordinate multilingual localization and translation projects from initiation to final delivery.
- Localize documents, marketing materials, books, journals, websites, and digital content into multiple languages.
- Perform Desktop Publishing (DTP) using different Desktop Publishing Tools to create and format multilingual layouts.
- Ensure translated content is accurately placed while preserving the original design, formatting, and typography.
- Work with translators, reviewers, and project managers to deliver high-quality localized content within deadlines.
- Conduct Linguistic Quality Assurance (LQA) and formatting checks before delivery.
- Manage Translation Memory (TM), terminology databases, glossaries, and style guides.
- Handle multilingual text expansion, font compatibility, right-to-left (RTL) languages, and Unicode-related issues.
- Coordinate with design and production teams to prepare print-ready and digital-ready files.
- Maintain project documentation and provide regular status updates.

Required Skills

- 13 years of experience in localization, translation,



or multilingual publishing.
- Strong hands-on experience with Adobe InDesign for multilingual Desktop Publishing (DTP).
- Knowledge of CAT tools such as SDL Trados, MemoQ, Phrase, Smartcat, or similar.
- Understanding of localization workflows, Translation Memory (TM), and terminology management.
- Knowledge of multilingual typography, font management, Unicode, and layout adaptation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and project coordination skills.
- Robust attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Linguistics, Translation, English, Foreign Languages, Publishing, Graphic Design, or a related field.
- Experience in scholarly publishing, eBook production, or multilingual publishing is preferred.
- Familiarity with XML, HTML, EPUB, or other publishing formats is an added advantage.
- Knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop is a plus.

Preferred Languages

- Excellent proficiency in English.
- Knowledge of one or more foreign languages (French, German, Spanish, Japanese, Chinese, Arabic, or other regional/international languages) is an added advantage.
