Job Summary

APM Group Private Limited is seeking an experienced EMS Supervisor to oversee daily
production activities in our Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) department. The ideal
candidate will be responsible for supervising the production team, ensuring quality standards,
meeting production targets, and driving continuous process improvements while maintaining
a safe and efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise daily EMS production activities and ensure production targets are achieved.
Lead and manage operators, technicians, and production staff.
Plan and allocate manpower based on production schedules.
¢ Monitor SMT, Through-Hole Assembly, PCB Assembly, and product testing
processes.
¢ Ensure compliance with quality standards and company procedures.
¢ Coordinate with R&D;, Quality, Stores, Purchase, and Production Planning teams.
¢ Monitor production efficiency, machine utilization, and productivity.
¢ Conduct daily production meetings and shift handovers.
¢ Investigate production issues and implement corrective actions.
¢ Ensure proper handling of ESD-sensitive electronic components.
¢ Maintain production reports, shift reports, and MIS documentation.
¢ Train and mentor new employees and operators.
¢ Ensure implementation of 5S, Kaizen, and Lean Manufacturing practices.
¢ Monitor inventory requirements and coordinate material availability with Stores.
¢ Ensure adherence to safety policies and company regulations.
¢ Support new product introduction (NPI) and pilot production activities.





Required Skills

¢ Strong knowledge of Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS).
¢ Experience in PCB Assembly, SMT, and Through-Hole Manufacturing.
¢ Production planning and manpower management.
¢ Quality control and process improvement.
¢ Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and CAPA implementation.
¢ Knowledge of ESD standards and IPC guidelines.
¢ Leadership and team management skills.
¢ Good communication and reporting skills.
¢ Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and ERP systems.
Preferred Skills
¢ Experience with SMT machines and reflow ovens.
¢ Knowledge of IPC-A-610 and ESD compliance.
¢ Experience in production planning and scheduling.
¢ Exposure to ISO 9001 quality management systems.
¢ Familiarity with ERP/MRP software.
¢ Ability to prepare daily production and KPI reports.

Qualification:

¢ Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electronics, Electrical, Instrumentation, Mechanical, or
related discipline.
¢ Certification in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or IPC Standards will be an added
advantage.
