EPM Finance Asst. Manager

Boyd is seeking a functional expert to join Boyds Finance team as the EPM Finance Asst. Manager who will lead the organizations implementation of its enterprise performance management tool, OneStream, and provide well-informed solutions as other systems and tools are integrated with OneStream. The ideal candidate is an impactful difference maker who interacts seamlessly with individuals at all levels of the organization while also serving as a strong leader within the Finance team.

- Roles and Responsibility :
- Manager on implementation phases related to OneStream, track deliverables, and ensure deadlines are met
- Manage and perform administrative functions in OneStream, including but not limited to; security, metadata maintenance, data loads, account/department/function maps, period locking, workflow maintenance, and month-end certifications
- Lead in testing changes to financial systems for release to production in OneStream
- Create and maintain cube views, dashboards, Excel Add-in, and key reports based on user requirements in OneStream
- Create and maintain; User, Entity, and Workflow access for all the data types; Actual, Budget, Forecast and Proforma
- The position will also lead the Finance/Accounting groups system conversion and implementation of dashboard applications across all functional groups
- Incorporate automation and process improvement to assist the month-end close and FP&A; reporting cycles
- Train and support the international OneStream user community




- Liaise with OneStream to facilitate support tickets as well as upgrades in the OneStream Cloud environment
- Work closely and successfully with the IT and Finance organizations to effectively support current and future needs as the business continue to grow and improve
- Be a financial systems expert and provide guidance as to how we gain visibility into our financial activity and results
- Assesses ongoing Month End Reporting and FP&A; processes and tools and recommends and implements automation and efficiency improvements
- Special projects as needed

Required Experience:

- 8+ years of combined Finance, Accounting and IT experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
- Extensive experience partnering with and influencing senior executives across multiple functions (sales, marketing, R&D;, products, etc.)
- Ability to work in a collaborative and team-centric culture
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, and ability to communicate successfully with individuals at all levels of the organization including building and presenting recommendations to executives
- Must have expertise in business analytics and tools including advanced Excel skills, ERP systems, and planning systems such as OneStream, Host, etc.
- Act as the key interface with General Accounting to support various activities related to Month/Quarter/Year-end closing
- Extensive understanding of financial concepts including financial statement analysis, accounting, budgeting, profitability analysis, and standard costing methodologies
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, continuously changing, setting
- Working knowledge of IFRS and FX analysis
- Prior experience in a multinational manufacturing company
