Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Fabrication Supervisor with hands-on experience in Pre-Engineered Buildings (PEB) and structural steel fabrication. The ideal candidate should be capable of supervising fabrication activities, ensuring quality, productivity, and adherence to project schedules while maintaining a secure working environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise day-to-day structural steel and PEB fabrication activities.
- Interpret fabrication drawings, GA drawings, shop drawings, and connection details.
- Plan and allocate work to fitters, welders, gas cutters, grinders, and helpers.
- Ensure fabrication is carried out as per approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
- Monitor material utilization and minimize wastage.
- Coordinate with the production, quality, procurement, and project teams to achieve production targets.
- Ensure dimensional accuracy and fit-up before welding.
- Supervise cutting, drilling, assembly, welding, grinding, and finishing operations.
- Monitor production progress and prepare daily production reports.
- Ensure proper maintenance and utilization of fabrication equipment and machinery.




- Enforce safety procedures and maintain good housekeeping in the fabrication shop.
- Resolve fabrication issues and support continuous process improvement.

Required Skills

- Strong knowledge of PEB structural fabrication and heavy steel fabrication.
- Ability to read and understand fabrication drawings and AutoCAD drawings.
- Knowledge of welding processes (SMAW, GMAW/MIG, FCAW) and fabrication techniques.
- Experience with fabrication machinery such as CNC Plasma Cutting, Band Saw, Radial Drill, Magnetic Drill, Shearing, and Punching Machines.
- Good understanding of dimensional tolerances and quality control procedures.
- Strong leadership and manpower management skills.
- Ability to work under production targets and delivery schedules.

Qualification

- Diploma / ITI in Mechanical Engineering, Fabrication Technology, or a related field.
- Additional welding or fabrication certifications will be an advantage.
