Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Purchase or Procurement Manager to lead commercial operations for our Roofing Sheets, Sandwich Panels, PEB, and Steel Buildings business. The role involves managing the complete commercial lifecycle of projectsfrom enquiry, estimation, tendering, contract negotiation, order execution, and project coordination to commercial closure.

The ideal candidate should possess strong commercial acumen, contract management expertise, project coordination skills, and experience in industrial or infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities

Commercial Management

- Manage complete commercial activities from enquiry to project completion and contract closure.
- Review, negotiate, and finalize commercial contracts, purchase orders, NDAs, MOUs, and customer agreements.
- Evaluate commercial risks and ensure compliance with company policies and contractual obligations.
- Prepare competitive techno-commercial offers and pricing strategies.

Tendering & Project Sales Support

- Support the Sales and Technical teams in tendering, estimation, and bid preparation.
- Prepare and standardize SOPs for Project Sales processes.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders during pre-bid and post-order stages.
- Ensure timely submission of quotations and commercial proposals.

Business Development & Customer Management

- Support key customer engagements and commercial negotiations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, consultants, architects,



contractors, and project stakeholders.
- Participate in pricing discussions and provide commercial clarifications.
- Monitor advance collections, billing, and final project settlements.

Project Coordination

- Coordinate with Production, Planning, Procurement, Dispatch, and Site teams for smooth project execution.
- Monitor project schedules and resolve commercial or operational issues.
- Ensure timely execution while maintaining customer satisfaction.

Financial & Commercial Control

- Monitor project costs, margins, and profitability.
- Track project commercial performance and recommend cost optimization measures.
- Maintain commercial documentation, contract records, and MIS reports.
- Ensure compliance with internal processes and statutory requirements.

Desired Candidate Profile

- B.E./B.Tech in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- MBA in Marketing or Business Management is preferred.
- Minimum 10-15 years of experience in Roofing Sheets, PEB, Steel Buildings, Sandwich Panels, Construction Materials, Industrial Construction, or Infrastructure Projects.
- Minimum 5 years in a managerial role handling commercial functions.
- Robust knowledge of contract management, tendering, project coordination, and commercial negotiations.
- Experience in CRM/ERP systems (Odoo preferred).
- Proficient in AutoCAD/CADD, Microsoft Excel, and project management tools.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, analytical, and leadership skills.
