Role & responsibilities

Attend and resolve electrical breakdowns to minimize production downtime.

Perform preventive and predictive maintenance of plant electrical equipment.

Maintain LT electrical distribution systems, PCC/MCC panels, transformers, DG sets, motors, VFDs, soft starters, and industrial lighting.

Troubleshoot electrical and automation-related issues involving PLCs, HMIs, sensors, temperature controllers, flow meters, pressure transmitters, and load cells.

Support installation, testing, commissioning, and startup of current machinery and utility systems.

Supervise electrical works during project execution and ensure quality and safety compliance.

Review electrical drawings, cable schedules, panel layouts, and installation activities.

Maintain electrical maintenance records, equipment history, and spare parts inventory.

Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards, LOTO procedures, statutory regulations, and plant safety practices.





Coordinate effectively with Production, Mechanical Maintenance, Instrumentation, Procurement, and Project teams.

Participate in root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective and preventive actions.

Identify opportunities for energy conservation, reliability improvement, and maintenance cost reduction.
