Job Description
We are looking for a proactive and people-focused Junior HR Business Partner (Junior HRBP) with 24 years of relevant experience in an IT/ITES or technology services organization. The role will support HR business partnering activities across the employee lifecycle, including employee engagement, HR operations, performance management coordination, employee relations, HR reporting, and stakeholder support. The ideal candidate should have strong communication skills, sound understanding of HR processes, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced IT services environment.
Key Responsibilities
Business Partnering & Stakeholder Support
- Support HR business partnering activities by working closely with business leaders, people managers, and employees to understand HR requirements and provide timely support.
- Assist managers in handling employee concerns, workplace queries, basic employee relations matters, and policy-related clarifications.
- Coordinate with internal HR teams to ensure smooth execution of employee lifecycle processes across assigned business units.
Employee Engagement & Experience
- Support employee engagement initiatives, employee connect sessions, pulse surveys, and action plan follow-ups to enhance employee experience.
- Conduct regular employee interactions to understand employee concerns, gather feedback, and escalate key inputs to the HRBP/leadership team as required.
- Contribute to building a positive work culture by supporting communication, engagement, and employee experience programs.
HR Operations & Employee Lifecycle
- Support employee lifecycle activities including onboarding coordination, confirmations, transfers, promotions, role changes, exits, and employee documentation.
- Ensure adherence to HR policies, processes, compliance requirements, and internal governance standards.
- Maintain accurate employee records, HR trackers, and process documentation in coordination with HR Operations and related teams.
HR Reporting & Analytics
- Track and maintain HR data related to headcount, attrition, engagement, employee movements, confirmations, exits, and other key people metrics.
- Prepare HR reports, dashboards, and data insights for HRBP reviews, business discussions, and leadership updates.
- Support analysis of employee trends and provide inputs for process improvements and engagement actions.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 2–4 years of relevant experience in HRBP, HR Generalist, Employee Relations, or HR Operations roles, preferably from an IT/ITES or technology services organization.
- Good understanding of HR practices, employee lifecycle processes, employee engagement, and basic labor law requirements.
- Prior experience supporting business leaders, people managers, and cross-functional HR teams is preferred.

- Robust coordination skills with the ability to work with employees, managers, and internal HR teams.
- Good problem-solving ability with basic employee relations and conflict-resolution skills.
- Data-driven mindset with the ability to prepare HR reports, trackers, and basic dashboards.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced and dynamic IT services environment.
- Proficiency in MS Office and HRMS tools; knowledge of Workday HRMS will be an added advantage.
