About the Role

Join our Oracle Cloud Engineering team at Milwaukee Tool, a global leader in innovation, quality, and industry-leading solutions. As an Oracle Fusion Software Engineer II, you will support the development, enhancement, and maintenance of Oracle Fusion extensions, Oracle Visual Builder Studio (VBS), Oracle Visual Builder Cloud Service (VBCS) applications, and reporting solutions. This role focuses on building up-to-date, user-facing Oracle Cloud applications, reporting capabilities, and Redwood-aligned experiences while providing opportunities to expand your expertise across Oracle Fusion technologies, integrations, and enterprise cloud development.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop, enhance, and support applications using Oracle Visual Builder Studio (VBS) and Oracle Visual Builder Cloud Service (VBCS).
- Design, develop, and maintain Oracle Fusion reports using BI Publisher (BIP) and Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence (OTBI).
- Support Oracle Fusion technical development across Finance, Supply Chain Management (SCM), and related Oracle Cloud modules.
- Assist with development activities involving FBDI, ESS, BICC, and Oracle reporting solutions.
- Develop and consume REST APIs to support Oracle Fusion applications, VBS/VBCS solutions, and reporting integrations.
- Write, optimize, and troubleshoot SQL queries supporting reports, dashboards, and application extensions.




- Contribute to Oracle Redwood UX modernization initiatives by supporting Redwood-aligned application enhancements.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, backlog refinement, technical discussions, and design reviews.
- Test, troubleshoot, and resolve application, reporting, and integration issues.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, functional analysts, business stakeholders, and senior engineers to understand requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
- Prepare technical documentation, development artifacts, test results, and support documentation following engineering best practices.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Strong hands-on experience in application development, Oracle development, reporting, or software engineering.
- Foundational understanding of Oracle Fusion technical architecture and development concepts.
- Hands-on experience with Oracle Visual Builder Studio (VBS) and Oracle Visual Builder Cloud Service (VBCS).
- Exposure to Oracle Fusion Finance and Supply Chain Management (SCM) technical functionality.
- Experience working with Oracle reporting technologies, including:
- FBDI
- ESS
- OTBI
- BI Publisher (BIP)
- FDI
- BICC





- Experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).
- Experience developing with SQL, JavaScript, REST APIs, JSON, HTML, and CSS.
- Experience working within Agile software development environments.

- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
