Role & responsibilities - Network Engineer

Total Experience- 8to 12 years

Location - Hyderabad & Bangalore only

Job description:

1. Strong hands-on experience with the configuration, implementation and troubleshooting of
1. Cisco Wireless LAN Controller (WLC) and Access Points (APs).
2. Cisco Prime Infrastructure / DNA Center
3. Cisco ISE, RADIUS/AAA, 802.1X authentication

- Deep understanding of:

1. Wi-Fi standards (802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax)
2. RF fundamentals, modulation, interference, roaming
3. Wireless security (WPA2/WPA3, 802.1X, EAP types)
4. Site survey tools like Ekahau, AirMagnet.

- Manage installation of the new Wireless Access Points (Cisco)
- Manage Wireless LAN technical issues through resolution




- Identify and implement improvements to enhance wireless network performance
- Should be ready to work in 24X7 Shifts
- Ability to work on multiple concurrent tasks with conflicting priorities

1. Good Knowledge & Hands on experience on Cisco WLCs.
2. ITIL Certification.
3. Technical Certifications such as Cisco CCNP Enterprise Wireless, Cisco CWNA/CWNP and Ekahau ESS Certification.
4. Robust analytical and problem-solving abilities.
5. Good communication and documentation skills.
6. Ability to lead during critical incidents.
