Senior Cyber Security Engineer:

Job Summary

Experienced Cybersecurity Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in implementing and managing Microsoft Purview and data security solutions. The candidate should have experience in data discovery, classification, data loss prevention (DLP), information protection, and compliance across enterprise environments. Experience with Microsoft Sentinel, Microsoft Defender, Microsoft Entra ID, and Azure security services is desirable.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, implement, and manage Microsoft Purview solutions across Microsoft and other enterprise environments.
- Configure and administer Information Protection, Sensitivity Labels, Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Insider Risk Management, Data Lifecycle Management, eDiscovery, and Compliance Manager.
- Implement Data Security Posture Management.
- Integrate Microsoft Purview with Microsoft 365, Azure, and third-party data sources.
- Collaborate with security and compliance teams to implement governance and regulatory controls.
- Support customer solution design, implementation, and technical documentation.





Mandatory Skills:

- 4+ years of experience in cybersecurity, information security, or Microsoft technologies.
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Purview and Microsoft 365 Compliance.
- Experience implementing DLP, Information Protection, Sensitivity Labels, Insider Risk Management, and eDiscovery.
- Knowledge of Microsoft 365, Azure, Microsoft Entra ID, and compliance frameworks.
- Solid understanding of data governance, data classification, and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent communication, troubleshooting, and customer-facing skills.

Good to Have:

- Microsoft Sentinel
- Microsoft Defender XDR suite
- Azure security and governance
- KQL or scripting experience
- Experience with security assessments and compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, HIPAA, or PCI-DSS.

Preferred Certifications:

- SC-400 Microsoft Information Protection Administrator
- AZ-500 Azure Security Engineer Associate.
