Zenith Energy Services Pvt. Ltd. is a Hyderabad-based energy services company delivering Solar EPC, Energy Efficiency, ESCO, and Climate & Carbon advisory services across India. We are looking for a Senior Accountant to independently manage the finance and accounts function following the recent exit of our previous accountant.
Role Summary
The Senior Accountant will own end-to-end accounting, statutory compliance, and financial reporting for Zenith Energy and its group entities, working closely with leadership on project costing, cash flow, and audit readiness. This is a hands-on, ownership role suited to someone comfortable stepping into an unstructured situation and building process.
Key Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day bookkeeping and finalization of accounts in Tally/ERP, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Handle statutory compliance GST returns (GSTR-1, 3B, 9), TDS/TCS, PF, ESI, PT, and income tax filings; liaise with consultants and government portals.
¢ Prepare monthly MIS, P&L;, balance sheet, and cash flow statements for management review.
¢ Manage project-wise cost accounting for Solar EPC, Energy Efficiency, and ESCO contracts, including WIP tracking and milestone billing.
¢ Oversee accounts payable/receivable, vendor reconciliations, and customer invoicing/collections.
¢ Coordinate bank operations fund transfers, working capital limits, LC/BG documentation, and reconciliations.
¢ Lead statutory and internal audits; prepare schedules and respond to auditor queries.




¢ Support payroll processing and HR-linked financial documentation (salary structuring, full & final settlements).
¢ Assist leadership with budgeting, financial modeling, and board meeting financial materials.
¢ Supervise and mentor a Junior Accountant, reviewing entries and ensuring internal controls.
Requirements
¢ B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance); CA-Inter or equivalent professional qualification preferred.
¢ 58 years of accounting experience, with prior exposure to EPC, construction, or project-based industries strongly preferred.
¢ Strong working knowledge of Tally ERP / Zoho Books / similar, MS Excel, and GST & TDS compliance.
¢ Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and take ownership of the accounts function.
¢ Solid attention to detail, integrity, and comfort handling sensitive financial data.

We are hiring a Junior Accountant to support daily accounting operations and statutory compliance as part of a small, hands-on finance team.
Role Summary
The Junior Accountant will support the Senior Accountant in maintaining accurate books of accounts, processing transactions, and preparing routine compliance filings. This is a good opportunity for someone early in their career to build broad exposure to project-based accounting in the energy sector.
Key Responsibilities
¢ Record day-to-day transactions purchases, sales, receipts, payments, and journal entries in Tally/ERP.
¢ Assist in preparation and filing of GST returns, TDS returns, and other statutory filings under guidance.
¢ Process vendor invoices, employee expense claims, and petty cash management.
¢ Perform bank reconciliations and vendor/customer ledger reconciliations.
¢ Support invoicing and follow-up on receivables.
¢ Maintain proper filing and documentation of vouchers, invoices, and statutory records.
¢ Assist with payroll data entry and support during month-end and year-end closing.
¢ Support the Senior Accountant during audits by compiling requested data and documents.
Requirements
¢ B.Com / M.Com graduate; additional certification in Tally or accounting software is a plus.
¢ 13 years of relevant accounting experience; freshers with strong fundamentals and internship experience may also be considered.
¢ Working knowledge of Tally ERP, MS Excel, and basic understanding of GST/TDS.
¢ Willingness to learn, good attention to detail, and reliable follow-through on assigned tasks.
