Job Title: Workday HCM Techno-Functional Consultant (Individual Contributor 5+ Years)
Location: Hyderabad (Work from Office)
Job Type: Fulltime Shift: 2-10 PM IST; WFO-5 Days a week until probation period.
Workday HCM Functional Consultant (Individual Contributor 5+ Years)
Role Summary:
Act as a senior functional expert responsible for independently delivering Workday HCM solutions, handling complex configurations, and supporting client requirements without direct team management responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Configure and support Workday HCM modules:
- Core HCM
- Compensation
- Talent & Performance
- Absence / Perks
- Analyse and translate business requirements into Workday configurations
- Design and maintain:
- Business Process Framework (BPs)
- Security roles and domain policies
- Build advanced reports, calculated fields, and dashboards
- Support data migration, validation, and cleansing activities
- Execute UAT support, defect fixing, and production support
- Collaborate with:
- Integration teams (for inbound/outbound data)
- Payroll and Finance teams
- Provide functional expertise during client discussions (without owning overall delivery)
- Troubleshoot complex issues and recommend optimized solutions
- Conduct knowledge transfer sessions and train internal
- employees on Workday HCM functionalities and best practices
- Good understanding of end-to-end HR lifecycle processes
- Ability to work independently in client-facing scenarios
- Exposure to integrations (EIB, Core Connectors)
Qualifications:
- 5+ years in HR systems / Workday HCM
- At least 12 full lifecycle implementations
- Must hold a valid Workday certification (active and current)
