Job Summary

Hartree Partners is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable professional to support Hartree s global AP operations, ensuring accurate and timely vendor payments while maintaining strong internal controls and compliance standards. This role is responsible for driving operational excellence, improving processes.

Location: Hyderabad

Position Type: Full-time, onsite. No hybrid work option/ 5-day work from office. Direct Reporting: HGSI Local Leadership team, Hyderabad

Functional Reporting: Head of Accounts Payable

Shift time (with flexibility to work in other shifts/ time zones): 2 pm to 11 pm IST

Key Responsibilities

- Support end-to-end accounts payable processes, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and consistency across global operations
- Help identify and implement process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance efficiency and scalability (e.g., OCR / invoice ingestion, workflow tools, ERP automation)
- Help manage vendor relationships, resolving issues and ensuring a high standard of service
- Ensure compliance with company policies, tax regulations, and audit requirements across jurisdictions
- Partner with Finance, Procurement,



and external stakeholders to strengthen controls and streamline workflows
- Support month-end close processes, reporting, and audit activities related to AP
- Define and track KPIs such as invoice cycle time, exception rates, and on-time payment metrics

Requirements: education, competencies G skills

- ualified Chartered Accountants (CA) or Cost C Management Accountants (CMA) or equivalent bachelor s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 6-8 years of accounts payable experience
- Strong knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Concur or similar platforms
- Familiarity with global AP processes, including multi-entity and multi-currency environments
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy, controls, and continuous improvement
