Role & responsibilities
- Own end-to-end service delivery for the assigned Finance tower, including SLA / KPI performance, productivity targets, quality, and customer satisfaction.
- Lead, coach, and develop the team; manage hiring, onboarding, performance reviews, succession planning, and engagement actions for direct and skip-level reports.
- Partner with global process owners, regional CFO organizations, and business stakeholders to align on priorities, resolve escalations, and represent India Hub in governance forums.
- Ensure robust internal controls, SOX compliance, and audit readiness (internal, external, tax, statutory) across all in-scope processes; own remediation of audit findings.
- Drive transformation and continuous improvement standardization, RPA / OCR / AI deployment, process re-engineering, and migration of new scope to the India Hub.
- Manage operational budgets, FTE planning, span of control, and capacity models; track and report financial and operational performance to leadership.
- Lead transitions, knowledge transfers, and stabilization of current scope into the India Hub, applying structured project management discipline.

Preferred candidate profile
- Postgraduate degree / MBA / CA / CMA / CPA in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or relevant domain.
- 1216 years of progressive experience in Finance Operations (P2P, O2C, or R2R),
with at least 46 years in a people manager role leading team of 15+ FTEs.
- Demonstrated experience managing SLAs / KPIs, governance forums, and senior stakeholder relationships across regions.
- Strong leadership, coaching, communication, and stakeholder management skills in a multicultural, fast-paced global environment.
- Strong commercial acumen, controls mindset, and ability to balance operational rigour with strategic transformation.
- Language skills indicate language and require level: C1 proficiency in Portuguese and C2 proficiency in English.
- Prior experience in a Global Business Services (GBS), Global Capability Centre (GCC), or Shared Services Centre (SSC) environment, including build / scale-up of new towers.
- Prior to exposure to the chemical, manufacturing, or industrial sector with multi-entity, multi-currency, multi-country finance operations.
- Lean Six Sigma Black/Green Belt certification, PMP / Prince2, and demonstrate track record of delivering transformation and automation programs (RPA, OCR, AI).
- Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word for leadership reporting, business reviews, and governance decks.
- Reporting & Analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) for SLA / KPI dashboards and operational performance reviews.
- Working knowledge of SAP FI / CO / MM / SD modules (S/4HANA preferred) and end-to-end Finance process architecture.
- Exposure to workflow / automation platforms (e.g., OpenText VIM, HighRadius, BlackLine, Ariba, Coupa, UiPath, Automation Anywhere).
