Required Skills & Qualifications Must Have • 68 years of experience in native Android development. Must Have • Strong proficiency in Kotlin (coroutines, Flow, extension functions). Must Have • Experience with Clean Architecture and MVVM/MVI patterns. Must Have • Hands-on experience with Jetpack Compose. Must Have • Experience with Dagger/Hilt for dependency injection. Must Have • Strong experience with Retrofit and OkHttp for API integration. Must Have • Knowledge of multi-module project architecture. Must Have • Experience with testing frameworks: JUnit, Mockito, Espresso. Must Have • Familiarity with performance tools (Android Studio Profiler, LeakCanary). Must Have • Experience in Agile/Scrum environments. Must Have • Strong problem-solving and communication skills. Must Have • Prior experience working on TAMM (Abu Dhabi's unified government services platform) or similar large-scale government / citizen-facing digital platforms is a strong plus. Key Responsibilities Must Have • Design, develop, and maintain native Android applications using Kotlin, ensuring high performance and reliability across devices and OS versions. Must Have • Implement modular, scalable architectures following Clean Architecture principles (data, domain, presentation layers).



Must Have • Build modern UI using Jetpack Compose and XML layouts with a strong focus on usability and consistency. Must Have • Implement dependency injection using Dagger/Hilt. Must Have • Integrate RESTful APIs using Retrofit and OkHttp. Must Have • Manage deep linking, navigation, and inter-module communication in multi-module projects. Must Have • Write unit, integration, and UI tests using JUnit, Mockito, and Espresso. Must Have • Collaborate with QA, product, design, and backend teams in an Agile environment. Must Have • Participate in code reviews and mentor junior engineers. Must Have • Continuously improve development practices and tools. Desirable / Good to Have Good to have • Experience with cloud platforms (Firebase, AWS, Azure). Valuable to have • Familiarity with Jetpack libraries (WorkManager, Room, DataStore, Navigation, Paging). Good to have • Exposure to AI-powered mobile features or on-device ML integration. Valuable to have • Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar).
