Role & responsibilities
- Prepare quantity take-offs from drawings and BOQs.
- Estimate project costs for materials, labor, plant, and equipment.
- Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQs) based on drawings and specifications.
- Verify subcontractor and client bills.
- Prepare and submit Running Account (RA) bills and final bills.
- Measure executed work at site and certify quantities.
- Track project costs and prepare cost reports.
- Monitor material consumption and identify cost variances.
- Prepare rate analysis for extra and non-BOQ items.
- Evaluate variation orders and change requests.
- Coordinate with planning, procurement, site execution, and finance teams.
- Maintain records of measurements, invoices, and payment certificates.
- Review contracts and ensure compliance with commercial terms.
- Assist in tender preparation, bid evaluation, and cost estimation.
