ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a Senior / Lead SAP Solution Architect to join and drive the design, strategy, and delivery of enterprise SAP solutions. You will serve as the technical authority across SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), AI-driven capabilities including Joule, licensing governance, and end-to-end logistics processes bridging functional expertise with architectural leadership to deliver measurable business outcomes.

The ideal candidate will bring deep cross-functional SAP expertise, hands-on implementation experience, and the ability to confidently lead customer discussions, solution presentations, and RFP responses.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Solution Architecture & Design

Lead end-to-end SAP solution architecture across S/4HANA, BTP, and adjacent platforms, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards and business strategy

Design scalable integration patterns using SAP Integration Suite (CPI), API Management, and Event Mesh on BTP

Develop architecture blueprints, solution landscape diagrams, and technical specifications for complex transformation programmes

Evaluate and recommend SAP AI capabilities including Joule, generative AI use cases, and AI Foundation on BTP

Ensure alignment with SAP best practices and industry standards

SAP BTP & Emerging Technologies

Architect BTP-native solutions across Integration Suite, Extension Suite, Data & Analytics, and AI services

Guide development teams on BTP tooling: SAP Build, CAP (Cloud Application Programming Model), SAPUI5, and Fiori

Define and govern BTP subaccount strategy, entitlement management, and connectivity configuration

Lead proof-of-concept (PoC) initiatives for Joule and GenAI features within ERP, SCM, and logistics contexts

SAP Licensing & Commercials

Serve as the in-house subject matter expert on SAP licensing models (RISE, GROW, subscription, indirect access, digital access)

Conduct licence reviews, optimisation exercises, and compliance assessments for enterprise SAP landscapes





Partner with procurement and legal teams during SAP contract negotiations and renewal cycles

Advise on licence implications of architectural decisions, customisations, and third-party integrations

Logistics Functional Expertise

Provide deep functional guidance across SAP MM, WM/EWM, TM, SD, and PP modules in logistics-intensive environments

Translate complex supply chain and logistics requirements into SAP solution designs

Lead and contribute to pre-sales activities including RFP responses, solution proposals, effort estimation, and client-facing workshops for logistics transformation engagements

Collaborate with business stakeholders to align SAP capabilities with warehouse, transport, and procurement processes

Stakeholder Engagement & Governance

Act as trusted advisor to C-level and senior stakeholders, clearly articulating technical decisions and trade-offs

Facilitate architecture review boards (ARBs) and solution design workshops

Mentor and coach junior architects and functional consultants across distributed teams

Ensure delivery quality through architecture governance, design reviews, and adherence to SAP best practices

Cross-Functional Expertise

- Bring robust knowledge across multiple SAP modules (e.g., MM, SD, EWM, PP, TM, FI/CO)
- Provide holistic solutions covering business processes and technical architecture
- Guide teams on best-fit solutions across cloud and hybrid landscapes

Pre-Sales & Solutioning

- Lead SAP solutioning for RFPs, RFIs, and proactive proposals
- Own end-to-end solution design, including scope definition, effort estimation, and pricing inputs
- Collaborate with sales, delivery, and domain teams to build compelling and competitive proposals
- Present solutions to customers,



including architecture walkthroughs and value articulation

Delivery & Implementation Support

- Provide architectural oversight during project execution
- Support transition from pre-sales to delivery teams
- Ensure proposed solutions are feasible, scalable, and aligned with implementation realities

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

10+ years of SAP consulting or architecture experience across multiple project lifecycles

Hands-on expertise with S/4HANA and SAP BTP services including Integration Suite, Extension Suite, and AI Foundation

Demonstrable knowledge of SAP Joule and generative AI integration within SAP products

Strong command of SAP licensing models including RISE with SAP, digital access, and indirect usage

Functional depth in SAP logistics modules: MM, EWM, TM, SD, and/or PP

Experience architecting solutions for S/4HANA (cloud or on-premise) in complex enterprise environments

Proven ability to produce high-quality architecture artefacts (solution blueprints, landscape diagrams, design documents)

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across technical and business audiences

Demonstrated track record of leading and contributing to pre-sales bids, RFP responses, and solution proposals — including effort estimation, solution scoping, and commercial positioning

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

SAP certifications in S/4HANA, BTP or relevant functional areas

Experience with SAP Signavio, LeanIX, or enterprise architecture tooling

Background in supply chain, 3PL, manufacturing, or retail verticals

Familiarity with SAP RISE commercial model and hyperscaler deployments (AWS, Azure, GCP)

Exposure to SAP Datasphere, SAP Analytics Cloud, or embedded analytics.
