Role: P&C; Insurance / Guidewire Automation Tester

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts for P&C; Insurance applications.
- Validate policy administration, claims, billing, underwriting, and rating functionalities.
- Develop automation frameworks using Selenium, Java, TestNG, Maven, or similar tools.
- Create and maintain API test automation using REST Assured/Postman.
- Work closely with Business Analysts, Developers, and Product Owners to understand requirements.
- Perform regression, integration, functional, and end-to-end testing.
- Analyze test results, identify defects, and track them through resolution.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and provide testing estimates.

Required Skills





- Strong experience in P&C; Insurance domain (Policy, Claims, Billing, Underwriting).
- Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver, Java, TestNG/JUnit.
- Experience in API Automation Testing.
- Valuable understanding of SQL and database testing.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitLab.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and defect management tools (JIRA, ALM).

Preferred Skills

- Experience with Guidewire (PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, BillingCenter) or Duck Creek.
- Exposure to BDD frameworks like Cucumber.
- Insurance certifications are an added advantage
