- Designing, developing, and researching Machine Learning systems, models, and schemes
- Training and retraining ML systems and models as needed.
- Verifying data quality and/or ensuring it via data cleaning for training data.
- Deploying models in the production workplace
- Performing statistical analysis and using results to improve models
- Identifying differences in data distribution that could affect model performance in real-world situations
- Monitoring model performance vs basic statistical methods for cost-benefit analysis as well as deployment performance and adherence to specifications
- Produce and maintain all documentation related to data models or analysis
- Design, test, and operationalize LLM-powered workflows using modern AI developer tools and workbenches (e.g., Codex-style coding agents, Cursor-like IDE copilots, OpenAI and Google agent frameworks).
- Develop robust system prompts, task schemas, and tool interfaces optimized for reliability and repeatability.
- Evaluate different foundation models, prompting strategies, and tool-use patterns using structured AI workbench environments and sandboxed experiments.
