- Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation, Electrical, Electronics, Automation Engineering, or a related field.
- 3 to 7 years of experience as a Business Analyst / Functional Consultant in industrial automation, manufacturing, or process control environments.
- Working knowledge of PLC platforms such as Siemens (S7-1200/1500/TIA Portal), Allen-Bradley/Rockwell (RSLogix/Studio 5000), Schneider Electric, or ABB.
- Hands-on exposure to SCADA/HMI software such as Wonderware/AVEVA, WinCC, iFIX, Ignition, or FactoryTalk View.
- Solid understanding of industrial communication protocols Modbus, Profibus/Profinet, OPC-UA, Ethernet/IP.
- Proven experience in requirement gathering, business process modeling, and writing functional specifications.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication,



and documentation skills.
- Familiarity with project management practices (Agile/Waterfall) and tools such as MS Project, JIRA, or similar.

Preferred Skills

- Exposure to MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems) or SAP PP/QM integration with shop-floor systems.
- Certification in Business Analysis (CBAP/CCBA) or Automation (Siemens/Rockwell certifications).
- Experience in industries such as pharmaceuticals, food & beverage, oil & gas, power, or discrete manufacturing.
- Basic understanding of instrumentation and control system architecture (DCS/PLC/SCADA hierarchy).
