Role & responsibilities

Business analysis & requirements shaping work with leads to elicit, validation, and document needs;

define MVP scope and acceptance criteria; and ensure solutions meet operational requirements across UTX

services.

- Fundamental understanding of cloud services and products, including core concepts (compute, storage,

networking), managed services, security/identity, and cost/operations basics.

- Process mapping & operational design: Partner with the leads to support governance of end-to-end

process architecture by driving development and maintenance of process maps and documentationcapturing

roles, handoffs, controls, and standards—while incorporating Lead feedback and ensuring artifacts remain

current and consistent.

- Experience engineering integrations with third-party platforms and ServiceNow-to-ServiceNow integrations,

including interface design, error handling, and operational supportability.

- Capacity, load and performance management: Ability to forecast and support leads to manage demand

vs. capacity, monitor SLAs/KPIs, escalate risks early, and drive corrective actions to prevent breaches and

improve service outcomes.

- Experience with Azure data services,



including building/operating data pipelines (e.g., Azure Data Lake)

and integrating curated data into 3rd Party Applications such as Power BI/Tableau Creator.

- Demonstrated understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) supporting application

development and delivery across planning, requirements, design, build, testing, release, and post-production

support, and assisting with coordination across cross-functional teams to track scope, schedule, quality, and

risk.

- Familiarity with project management tools such as Jira and/or other DevOps/ALM platforms (e.g., Azure

DevOps, Rally, ServiceNow, GitLab/GitHub) to support backlog management, sprint planning and tracking,

delivery monitoring, and status reporting on risks and dependencies across the delivery lifecycle.

- PL-300 (Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst) / Azure Data Analyst Associate
- AZ-900 (Microsoft Azure Fundamentals) equivalent or higher
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
- ITIL v3/v4 (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) certification
