Role & responsibilities :

We are looking for a Azure Security & Platform Engineer to lead and execute remediation of vulnerabilities identified through WIZ across our Azure environments. The role will focus on infrastructure and cloud security remediation, working closely with internal and OpenText teams to ensure all critical and high vulnerabilities are resolved in a secure and compliant manner.

Key Responsibilities

- Analyze and prioritize vulnerabilities from WIZ reports, focusing on critical and high-severity issues
- Perform remediation across Azure services including VMs, Storage Accounts, Key Vault, and Networking components
- Implement security controls such as private endpoints, RBAC, encryption, and network restrictions
- Harden infrastructure by addressing NSG rules, public exposure, and insecure access configurations




- Configure and enforce security best practices for Application Gateway, including WAF enablement and TLS standards
- Execute bulk remediation using automation tools such as PowerShell or Azure CLI
- Coordinate with OpenText/internal teams for application-level fixes while ensuring infrastructure readiness and compatibility.
- Validate remediation through re-scans and ensure closure of vulnerabilities with proper evidence
- Prepare and execute CAB-compliant deployment plans, including implementation, rollback, and testing steps
- Provide regular status reporting on remediation progress, risks, and overall security posture improvement
