Role & responsibilities

Quality Assurance (QA)

- Prepare and review Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs).
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, drawings, and contract requirements. .
- Conduct internal quality audits.
- Identify non-conformities and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).

Quality Control (QC)

- Inspect civil works such as excavation, foundations, concrete, masonry, structural steel, and finishing works.
- Verify materials received at site comply with approved material submittals.
- Witness and monitor field and laboratory testing, including:
- Concrete slump tests
- Concrete compressive strength tests
- Soil compaction tests
- Reinforcement inspection
- Welding inspections (where applicable)

- Raise Inspection Requests (IRs) for consultant/client approval.




- Maintain inspection records and quality documentation.
- Issue Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) when work does not meet requirements.
- Verify corrective actions have been implemented effectively.

Documentation Responsibilities

- Maintain quality records and inspection reports.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly QA/QC reports.
- Control and update approved drawings and specifications.
- Maintain material inspection records and test certificates.
- Ensure calibration certificates for testing equipment are current.
- Compile handover dossiers and as-built quality documentation.
