Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Specialist Enterprise Data Integration to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and governing enterprise-wide data architecture on the Microsoft Azure platform, enabling secure, scalable, and high-performance data solutions that support business operations, analytics, and digital transformation initiatives.

Preferred Industry Experience (Mandatory)Candidates must have experience in Automobile or Manufacturing Industry, preferably with:

Automobile Companies like Tata Motors, Maruti Suzuki, Honda, BMW, Mahindra & Mahindra, Maruti Suzuki etc.,

Key Responsibilities

- Design and implement enterprise data architecture using Microsoft Azure data services.
- Develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models for enterprise applications.
- Design and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines and data integration solutions across cloud and on-premises environments.
- Build scalable data solutions using Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure Synapse Analytics, Microsoft Fabric, Azure SQL, Azure Data Lake, and Azure Cosmos DB.
- Implement data governance,



data quality, metadata management, and security using Microsoft Purview and Azure security services.
- Collaborate with Solution Architects, Enterprise Architects, business stakeholders, and technical teams to gather requirements and deliver data solutions.
- Create source-to-target mappings, data dictionaries, and data lineage documentation.
- Support analytics and reporting by designing optimized data models for BI and data science teams.
- Mentor junior team members and promote best practices in data architecture and governance.
- Participate in Agile projects, testing, deployment, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Robust hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure data technologies.
- Proven experience in ETL/ELT development, hybrid data integration, and enterprise data governance.
- Excellent analytical, communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Key Skills

- Strong understanding of data architecture principles, data modeling techniques (relational, dimensional, NoSQL), and data flows.
- Hands-on expertise with Azure data services, including Azure Data Lake Storage (Gen2), Azure Synapse Analytics, Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Factory,



Azure Databricks, Azure SQL Database/Managed Instance, and Azure Cosmos DB.
- Proficiency with SQL, T-SQL, and Spark (PySpark/Scala).
- Experience with data modeling tools such as Erwin, ER/Studio, or PowerDesigner.
- Experience with Delta Lake, Parquet, and lakehouse architecture patterns (medallion architecture: bronze, silver, gold).
- Working knowledge of data integration protocols such as REST, SOAP, GraphQL, ODBC, JDBC, SFTP, Kafka, and Event Hubs.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Purview for data governance, cataloging, and lineage.
- Exposure to Power BI and semantic modeling for analytics enablement.
- Exposure to data virtualization technologies (e.g., Denodo, ODBC/JDBC virtualization) is a plus.
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps, Git, and CI/CD pipelines for data solutions.
- Knowledge of Azure security, networking, and identity services (Entra ID, Private Endpoints, Key Vault) as they apply to data platforms.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and ALM/collaboration tools.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, or a related field.
- Master's degree is an added advantage.
- Microsoft Azure certifications (DP-203, DP-600, Azure Solutions Architect Expert) are preferred.
- TOGAF, CDMP, or equivalent certifications are a plus.
