Job Title: C# Backend and Database Developer

Role Overview

We are looking for a C# Backend and Database Developer to design, develop, maintain, and modernize backend services and database solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in C#, .NET, REST APIs, and Azure SQL Server, with experience building scalable, high-performance applications and supporting enterprise-grade systems.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop, maintain, and enhance backend applications and shared libraries using C# and .NET technologies.
- Design, build, and maintain secure, scalable REST APIs and service-layer components.
- Develop and optimize Azure SQL Server databases, including schema design, query optimization, and performance tuning.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues through code analysis, logging, and database investigation.
- Refactor and modernize legacy applications while ensuring compatibility and system stability.
- Build reusable components and implement best practices for code quality and maintainability.
- Deploy and manage applications on Azure App Service.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, high-quality software solutions.
- Participate in code reviews, release management, and continuous improvement initiatives.




- Contribute to platform modernization and technology upgrades.

Required Skills & Experience

- 8+ years of experience in C# and .NET backend development.
- Solid hands-on experience with C#, .NET Core, ASP.NET Core, and modern .NET frameworks.
- Experience designing, developing, and consuming REST APIs.
- Strong expertise in Azure SQL Server, T-SQL, database design, and query optimization.
- Experience with debugging, troubleshooting, and performance tuning of backend applications.
- Hands-on experience with Azure App Service deployments.
- Proficiency with Git, version control, code reviews, and release management.
- Strong understanding of backend architecture, API integrations, and database-driven applications.
- Ability to work independently on complex technical issues and modernization projects.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with OAuth, OpenID Connect (OIDC), and IdentityServer.
- Experience working with enterprise or mission-critical applications.
- Exposure to application modernization and migration to newer .NET versions.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and Azure ecosystem is an added advantage.
