- Review Tekla models, shop drawings, assembly drawings, single-part drawings, and erection drawings before submission.
- Verify member sizes, dimensions, weld symbols, bolt information, material specifications, and connection details.
- Ensure drawings comply with AISC standards, client specifications, and fabrication requirements.
- Review RFIs, revision drawings, and client comments, and coordinate with Detailers and Modelers.
- Check BOMs, NC/CNC files, and fabrication deliverables for accuracy.
- Identify detailing errors and ensure drawings are fabrication-ready.
- Guide and mentor junior Detailers to maintain quality standards.
- Meet project deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
Preferred candidate profile
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Tekla Checker.
- Candidates must have hands-on experience working on U.S. structural steel projects.
- Strong knowledge of Tekla Structures.
- Excellent understanding of AISC standards.
- Experience checking structural and miscellaneous steel projects.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Immediate joiners or candidates with up to 2 months' notice preferred.
