Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated Automation Test Engineer with hands-on experience in Micro Focus UFT (Unified Functional Testing), Selenium WebDriver, database validation, and Mainframe testing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, executing, and maintaining automated test scripts across web, backend, and legacy systems. You will play a key role in enhancing test coverage, reducing regression cycles, and enabling continuous testing within Agile/CI-CD environments.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and maintain robust automated test scripts using UFT (QTP) and Selenium WebDriver (Java/C#).
- Automate functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end test scenarios across web, mobile, and mainframe applications.
- Perform backend validation using SQL queries on databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, DB2,



and validate data consistency between application and database layers.
- Conduct Mainframe testing including COBOL, JCL, and CICS-based application validation using appropriate tools and techniques.
- Create reusable, modular, and maintainable automation frameworks (keyword-driven, data-driven, hybrid).
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and DevOps teams in Agile/Scrum environments to define test strategies, estimate efforts, and participate in sprint planning.
- Identify, log, track, and retest defects using Jira/ADO; ensure traceability from requirements to test cases.
- Support CI/CD pipelines by integrating automated tests into Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions.
- Generate detailed test execution reports, defect summaries, and quality dashboards for stakeholders.
- Contribute to test data management, setting provisioning, and test automation tool standardization.
- Stay updated with emerging trends in test automation, AI-powered testing, and quality engineering practices.
