Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Procurement process execution

- Drive material resource planning ensuring best practice purchasing in terms of quality, delivery time and efficiency
- Develop inventory plan for all the categories
- Develop PO status tracker for all the categories
- Place PO in a timely and effective manner
- Develop product testing and BOM validation formats for all the vendors
- Facilitate development of action plan for supplies as per sales requirements

2. Vendor management

- Coordinate with vendor for timely and adequate supply of goods
- Coordinate with Planning & Production team to develop purchase plan, plan inventory and PO placement
- Coordinate with Commodity team to ensure timely supply of commodities to vendors




- Coordinate with commodity and costing team to update the latest prices in SAP for PO placements
- Coordinate with Quality to share inputs with vendors on driving better product

3. Operational Metrics

- Responsiveness to sales requirements (Lead time of PO placement, communication to vendor etc.)
- Adherence to latest negotiated prices for PO placement
- Minimization of sales and process disruptions due to unavailability of goods
- Lead time of goods delivery
- Putting in place structured process to track PO and goods status
- Ensuring coordination with Sales and Process teams to respond quickly and effectively to their requirements
