Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled GCP DevOps Engineer with Python Scripting expertise to manage and automate our cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelines. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between development and operations teams, ensuring seamless, scalable, and secure application delivery on Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

Responsibilities

- Design and manage scalable, secure, and resilient cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles.
- Automate and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Python scripting and relevant tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI) to improve efficiency and reliability.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts using Python and Bash to streamline repetitive operational tasks, manage cloud resources, and support developer workflows.
- Implement and manage containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes to ensure consistent environments across development and production.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot production issues,



and implement logging and alerting solutions (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack) to ensure high availability and stability.
- Collaborate with software engineering teams to ensure seamless deployment and operation of services, participating in architecture design and code reviews.
- Ensure security, compliance, and best practices are implemented across the cloud environment and deployment pipelines (DevSecOps).
- Document processes, infrastructure configurations, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for knowledge sharing and team alignment

Qualifications

- Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role.
- Hands-on experience with core Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services (e.g., Compute Engine, GKE, VPC, Cloud IAM, Cloud Functions).
- Proficiency in Python for scripting and automation is required, along with experience in other scripting languages like Bash or Shell.
- Solid expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, especially Terraform, and configuration management tools like Ansible.
- Experience with CI/CD tools and methodologies (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
- Solid understanding of containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills
