- 3+ years of software development experience, with 2+ years working directly with Camunda 7 and 8 (BPM/DMN engine).
- Hands-on experience with Camunda 7, plus understanding of the architectural differences from Camunda 8.
- Solid in Java and the Spring / Spring Boot ecosystem.
- Design and model business processes using BPMN 2.0 (including Call Activities, Multi-Instance sub-processes/tasks, embedded and event sub-processes, boundary and intermediate events) and decision tables using DMN.
- Implement Java Delegates, Listeners (Execution/Task), and connectors to integrate processes with external systems and REST/SOAP services.
- Build and optimize external task workers and topic-based service task handlers in Camunda 7.
- Job executor configuration,



and understanding the Camunda DB schema (history/runtime tables) for scale.
- Develop Job Workers (Java/Spring Zeebe client) to execute service tasks in Camunda 8.
- Write unit and integration tests for process definitions using the Camunda BPM assertions / test framework.
- Configure and manage process deployment, versioning, and process migration.

Nice to Have

- Experience migrating processes from Camunda 7 to Camunda 8 (Zeebe).
