Senior F5 Network Engineer

Location: Hyderabad, Pune, Bangalore, Gurugram, Noida

Experience: 5-15 years

Immediate Joiners Preferred.

Responsibilities

- Design, deploy, configure, and support F5 BIG-IP solutions with strong focus on LTM and GTM (DNS)
- Manage and maintain BIG-IQ for centralized configuration, monitoring, licensing, and compliance
- Configure and troubleshoot:
- Virtual Servers, Pools, Nodes, SNAT, NAT
- iRules and iApps
- SSL profiles (Client/Server SSL)
- Perform advanced traffic management, load balancing, and high availability (HA) configurations
- Handle production incidents, root cause analysis, and problem management
- Participate in KT / transition activities during role changes or system handovers
- Work with applications, network, and security teams to onboard and optimize applications on F5
- Ensure platform stability, performance tuning, upgrades, and patching
- Create and maintain technical documentation and operational runbooks

Minimum Qualifications / Skills





- Strong hands-on expertise with:
- F5 BIG-IP LTM
- F5 GTM (DNS)
- F5 BIG-IQ deployments
- Deep understanding of:
- TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS, DNS, SSL/TLS
- Load balancing algorithms and traffic steering
- Proven experience with enterprise-scale F5 environments
- Solid troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Experience supporting 24x7 production environments
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Strong ownership mindset and sense of urgency
- Ability to work under pressure in high-impact situations

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills

- F5 Certifications (CA, CTS LTM / DNS)

Experience with:

- WAF (Advanced WAF / ASM)
- Automation or scripting (Bash, Python, REST APIs)
- Exposure to cloud integrations (AWS / Azure F5 deployments)
- ITIL process awareness
