Role Purpose

The Cluster Manager will drive life insurance sales through the Axis Bank AVC Channel by managing a team, strengthening partner relationships, and ensuring achievement of business targets across the assigned cluster. The role involves sales planning, team development, productivity enhancement, and compliance with regulatory guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

Drive achievement of sales targets, premium, and revenue for the assigned cluster.

Manage and lead a team of Relationship Managers/KAMs to improve productivity.

Build solid relationships with Axis Bank stakeholders and channel partners.

Conduct regular business reviews, coaching sessions, and field support for the team.

Monitor sales performance, pipeline, and conversion ratios to ensure target achievement.

Plan and execute sales campaigns, contests, and branch activation initiatives.

Ensure compliance with IRDAI guidelines and company sales processes.





Coordinate with internal teams such as Operations, Underwriting, Training, and Marketing for seamless customer service.

Analyze business MIS and identify opportunities for business growth.

Recruit, train, and retain high-performing sales professionals.

Desired Candidate Profile

Graduate (MBA preferred).

5–8 years of experience in Life Insurance/Bancassurance/Banking Sales.

Minimum 2–3 years of experience in team handling.

Strong experience in partner relationship management and sales planning.

Excellent communication, leadership, negotiation, and people management skills.

Knowledge of life insurance products, IRDAI regulations, and bancassurance business.
