Role & responsibilities
- Implement and monitor the EHS Management System across the project.
- Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, BOCW Act, client requirements, and company EHS policies.
- Conduct daily safety inspections, audits, hazard identification (HIRA), Job Safety Analysis (JSA), and risk assessments.
- Monitor high-risk activities such as work at height, lifting operations, excavation, confined space entry, hot work, electrical work, and permit-to-work systems.
- Conduct safety induction programs, toolbox talks, mock drills, and awareness sessions for employees and contractors.
- Investigate accidents, incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Ensure proper use of PPE and maintain emergency preparedness, fire safety, and first-aid arrangements.
- Maintain statutory records, safety documentation, permits, inspection reports, and compliance registers.
- Coordinate with project managers, contractors,
consultants, and client representatives on all EHS-related matters.
- Drive behavioural safety initiatives and promote a proactive safety culture across the
Preferred candidate profile
- B.Tech in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or a related Engineering discipline.
- ADIS (Advanced Diploma in Industrial Safety) is mandatory.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant EHS experience in construction projects.
- Experience in Data Centre, Industrial, Commercial, High-rise, MEP, or Mission Critical infrastructure projects is preferred.
- Robust knowledge of BOCW Act, ISO 45001, ISO 14001, HIRA, JSA, Permit-to-Work (PTW), Incident Investigation, Emergency Response, Fire Safety, and Contractor Safety Management.
- Good communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills
