The organization delivers enterprise technology solutions across multiple domains and is executing a confidential client engagement that requires all resources to work from a secure facility in Hyderabad. Due to project requirements, this position is strictly Work From Office.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Android Engineer to design, develop, and deliver high-quality native Android applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, Clean Architecture, MVVM/MVI, and modern Android development practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Must Have

- 6–8 years of experience in Native Android Development.
- Strong proficiency in Kotlin (Coroutines, Flow, Extension Functions).
- Experience with Clean Architecture and MVVM/MVI patterns.
- Hands-on experience with Jetpack Compose.
- Experience with Dagger/Hilt for dependency injection.
- Strong experience with Retrofit and OkHttp for REST API integration.
- Knowledge of multi-module Android project architecture.
- Experience with JUnit, Mockito,



and Espresso testing frameworks.
- Familiarity with performance analysis tools such as Android Studio Profiler and LeakCanary.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with TAMM or similar government/citizen-facing platforms is an added advantage.

Positive to Have

- Experience with Firebase, AWS, or Azure.
- Familiarity with Jetpack libraries such as WorkManager, Room, DataStore, Navigation, and Paging.
- Exposure to AI-powered mobile features or on-device machine learning.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar).

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance native Android applications using Kotlin.
- Implement scalable applications using Clean Architecture principles.
- Build modern and responsive UI using Jetpack Compose and XML layouts.
- Implement dependency injection using Dagger/Hilt.
- Integrate RESTful APIs using Retrofit and OkHttp.
- Manage deep linking, navigation, and communication across multi-module projects.
- Develop unit, integration, and UI tests using JUnit, Mockito, and Espresso.
- Collaborate with Product, QA, Backend, and Design teams in Agile environments.
- Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers.
- Continuously improve development standards, tools, and engineering practices.
