Position Overview:

- Senior member of Global Tax Operations reporting to Head of Global Tax Operations.
- Oversee operational execution and control governance for U.S. withholding (FDAP/NRA, FATCA, backup), information reporting (1042, 1042-S, 1099, 945), FATCA/CRS due diligence, Financial Transaction Taxes (FTT), reconciliations, exceptions, deposits, and global compliance.
- Ensure accurate data flow and validate outputs from external tax documentation providers.
- Solid process-improvement, team management, and ownership mindset required.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead daily tax operations: withholding reviews, reporting validation, workflow approvals, mailbox management, exceptions.
- Maintain W-8/W-9 expertise, monitor vendor outputs, and oversee FATCA/CRS and FTT compliance.
- Ensure timely U.S. tax deposits; manage exceptions and escalations.
- Serve as control owner for audits, reconciliations, reporting validation, and documentation governance.




- Drive process improvements, workflow automation, dashboards, and predictive exception monitoring.
- Support multi-year operating model and ensure operational continuity through 5:00 PM ET.
- Lead, coach, and develop the India-based team; maintain strict adherence to controls and timelines.

Qualifications:

- Bachelors in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 12-15 years in U.S. tax reporting, withholding, FATCA/CRS, or financial services tax operations.
- Strong knowledge of W-8/W-9, Forms 1042/1042-S/1099/945, FATCA/CRS, FDAP/NRA, FTT.
- Analytical, data-driven, team management, and control-oriented.
- Preferred: Workflow platforms (Goldtier, PowerApps), audit exposure, automation/AI experience, excellent stakeholder communication.
